Silk-screened business cards: a printing method that can look both subtle and luxurious, depending on the paper and colour you choose. Screen printing, also known as stencil printing, is when an image is transferred by ink through a stencil onto the desired product. It is difficult to convey various colour gradients or other complex designs in this way, but is ideal for printing text or logos. It gives printed items a light, very subtle, almost velvety sheen.
